Born in Israel, Hagar started her violin studies at the age of 9. Studied her Bachelor at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and received her Masters in Music in Vienna at the “Private University Conservatory” with Prof. Thomas Christian.

Hagar is a recipient of the America-Israel foundation scholarships, won the prize of “Outstanding Musician” at the Tel-Aviv Conservatory violin competition, the winner of the Jerusalem Academy President’s scholarship for Excellence in 2010. Has served in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) as a distinguished musician. Hagar has participated in many orchestral projects, such as the “West- Eastern Divan”, “Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra”. Played as a soloist with several orchestras in Israel.

These days Hagar is a busy violinist in the classical field and also in Pop music. Plays as substitute player in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and other main orchestras in Israel. A member of the “Revolution Orchestra”, an unusual and non classical orchestra. Member of the Polyphony Ensemble of the pianist Gil Shohat, his concerts combine Pop and Classical music together. In these concerts Mr. Shohat hosts the top artists of the Israeli music.

Hagar plays on a french violin kindly loaned by Mr. Yehuda Zisapel.
